The early days of the Pokemon craze hold some great memories for me. While Pokemon Red was the first game of the franchise I played, the Yellow version got the Gameboy is my absolute favorite.
I may be biased, but I consider Pokemon Yellow (along with Pokemon red) to be nearly flawless games. The graphis are top-notch and the music is pretty good (but can be a bit repetitive after a while). They story is well laid out.
