Sailor Moon’s Classic Theme on Traditional Japanese Instruments
A while back i shared a video to Guns N Roses ‘Welcome to the Jungle‘ being covered on traditional Japaneses instruments.
Not the internet has given us a masterfully done cover of Moonlight Densetsu, tghe theme from Sailor Moon.
Nami Kineie is considered a master of the three-stringed shamisen and lent her amazing abilities to cover “Moonlight Densetsu” earlier this year, creating a truly unique cover. she is joined by Makoto Takei on the shakuhachi (bamboo flute), Eriko Kumazawa on the 20-stringed koto, Masako Watanabe on the 17-string koto, and Jun Rokei on percussion.
