All-New, All-Different Avengers 001 (Nov. 2015)
SPOILERS AHEAD! YE BE WARNED!

We open with the new Captain America, Sam Wilson, saving people on a bridge in New York City. His greatest challenge came after he saved everyone from falling into the water below when he encounters Girl Scouts who ask if he will buy their cookies. He only has $5 on him and can’t afford to buy some from them all. Until he spots Tony Stark in the crowd and has Tony pose for a picture instead of buying cookies. Tony gives him and his Falcon a lift. Having come up on tough times, Tony sold the Avengers tower to someone else and we get a glipse of them moving out his stuff. As the movers move the last box it lights up and a Chitari Warbringer appears. The man who now owns the Avengers tower speaks Chitari. he tries to get the Chitari working with him to find an ancient Chitari artifact that was split into three pieces, before we hear more Spider-Man drops in. Literally.
He tries to save an innocent from being crushed, but his webshooters miss. Luckily, Captain America saves the day and Tony Stark saves Spidey. Spidey fills them in on the big, angry alien and they run in to save the day. At least, that was the plan before the Chitari blew up the building. TO BE CONTINUED…
But wait, there’s more! We get a glimpse of Nova and Ms. Marvel meeting at the Jersey City Circle Q. While Ms. Marvel is hanging out with her friends, a giant monster (a monster from the Microverse that needs to be shrunk back down) attacks the city. Luckily, Nova was tracking it and helped Ms. Marvel stop it. They banter/flirt until it gets awkward and they both run away. Ah, kids. TO BE CONTINUED… (for real this time)
Meet your All-New, All-Different Avengers! The Mighty Thor, Nova, Ms. Marvel, Vision, Invincible Iron Man, Sam Wilson: Captain America, and Spider-Man in black. He may get a different name. They never actually said it in the comic. Though I did like “Trademark Infringement Kid”. The story at the end with Nova and Ms. Marvel was cute. It looks like we will be getting some cute chemistry between them in the next few comics. The main story, however, interests me more. A Chitari on Earth!? An alien artifact and what looks like the set-up for an intergalactic treasure hunt… sweet. Until next time!
