Welcome! I am Jedite83, a geek-of-all-trades and founder of this website.
<-- The Dragon (Editor-in-Chief)
Hello! I am The Dragon, creator of The Dragon’s Tower.com, Jedite’s wife, Co-Creator of Captain Little Dude, Geek, Gamer, Nerd, fangirl, bookworm, and Pagan. Pastry Chef turned Web Designer. Entrepreneur. Philanthropist. Human. Feminist. I am Hacker Labs’ Graphic Designer, Editor-in-Chief, Social Media Head, and permanent Staff Writer. I run the Hacker Labs Store and Jedite’s Book of Shadows Store. I adore anime and was hooked the first time I watched Sailor Moon when I was a tween. After that, Japanese culture peeked my interest. Along side my Marvel comic book collection sat my Manga collection.
I am a girl of the 80’s. I watched TMNT, Transformers, Jem, Punky Bruester, and Alf. I was a member of the Burger King Kids Club and never questioned the existence of a giant purple blob as a McD’s character. I grew up playing an Atari, NES, Super NES, N64, Gameboy, Gameboy Advanced, Nintendo DS, and I even had a Nintendo Virtual Boy. As I got older I became interested in PS2 & PS3 games, but my console gaming always takes a backseat to my love of PC games. I started with DOS games like Star Trek and King’s Quest. My best-friend gave me her old Apple IIc, so I rocked out Oregon Trail and the Carmen Sandiego games. Some of my favorites as Windows OS advanced were The 7th Guest, The 11th Hour, Phantasmagoria, The Dame was Loaded, Dune, Diabo, and Neverwinter Nights. Then the MMORPG Boom hit us and Dark Ages of Camelot came out, followed by Ever Quest and World of Warcraft. I tried Pirates of the Burning Sea until it died out and I play Lord of the Rings Online off and on. I am addicted to The Sims games including Sim City. I can spend hours playing Civilization. When I want to play a shorter game I will play a couple Shockwave games.
I adore tabletop games and was hooked the first time I played old World of Darkness Vampire: The Masquerade and later that same year AD&D. Tabletop games led to Card games like Magic the Gathering and Pokemon, which led to LARPs. I will never pass up a good Renaissance Faire and I was once active in SCA. I weave, crochet, sew, and have dabbled in hat making. I strive to make most things myself, but am always on the look-out for companies that make all-natural products for people with sensitive, FAIR skin. This led me to product reviews, which I love! I never knew there were THAT many companies that make all-natural beauty products that don’t murder my skin. It is trial and error, but I discover new companies and products every day. –>
