Pokémon GO Earns Nearly US$800 Million in 2018

Mobile app data analysis organization Sensor Tower reported on Wednesday that the Pokémon GO smartphone game earned an estimated US$795 worldwide in 2018, about a 35% increase over its revenue from 2017. Overall, the game has earned US$2.2 billion since its launch in July 2016.

In December alone, the app earned more than US$75 million worldwide, about a 32% increase over the same month in 2017. The game’s per-day average was almost US$2.2 million in 2018, up 38% from 2017’s average.
