Pokémon Silver

Pokémon Silver version and Gold Version are the second installments of the Pokémon series of role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo; developed for the Game Boy, the games were enhanced for its successor, the Game Boy Color, and marketed for the latter console. They were first released in Japan in 1999, North America in 2000, and Europe and Australia in 2001. Pokémon Crystal, a special edition version, was released for the Game Boy Color roughly a year later in each region.

Graphics: Pokemon Silver‘s graphics were inline with the earlier gen 1 games, however they have a more polished look, while not looking to busy in the Gameboy Color’s 2.6″ (66mm) screen.
Audio: Pokemon Silver features a good soundtrack, however, like most gameboy games, it gets a bit repetitive after a while.
Gameplay:The controls and menus, like the earlier Pokemon games, are intuitive and simple. They are identical to the controls for Red, Blue and Yellow. The menus haven’t changed much either. The backpack now has multiple pockets to organize items, and in combat there is now a XP bar and an icon to tell if you are battling a Pokemon that you have already caught (’cause nobody wants dups).
